Here is a cool shot of a 75lb rig over a home in Wolfville, NS
We took down three massive white pines around 140′ tall due to damage to a roof. It’s amazing how much more fun and easy it is working with a crane. Thanks a lot to Shawn with Roscoe Construction for the assistance. Here is a short clip of us taking down one of these monsters.
This monster poplar was much to close to a house and was dropping branches, damaging the roof. We had the pleasure of working with Sean from Roscoe Construction who happens to be a wizard on the controls. This was a supper fun job with an amazing view of the beautiful Valley. I love my job!!!
Finally got around to editing some footage I had from a job last summer. Big Maple at the beautiful Victoria Inn in Wolfville NS.
The homeowners words were “This pine is nothing more then an eyesore”. It had died a year or two ago and was starting to rot. We were happy to take it down to a 3′ stump, a perfect height to put a flower pot on.
This over mature birch starting dropping branches close to the house so it had to be removed. The home owner decided to use the wood for firewood, and the brush for his camp fire in the back yard
We had a nice open area to drop this cedar from the base. Its not everyday we have the luxury of that much space, and we were very grateful.
Here is a start to finish look at the removal of a over mature double white spruce in New Minas. Sorry if you get motion sickness!!!
When we don’t have the room to drop large sections of the tree, we use ropes and pulleys to lower branches and large sections of wood in a safe and controlled manner.
This white pine was to close to the service lines and was dropping sap onto the homeowners vehicle, it had to come down.
